London: Robert Pattinson thinks it is "ridiculous" that his fans` parents should expect him to be a role model to their children.Named one of the ‘Sexiest Men Alive’ in 2008 and 2009 by People magazine, the British hunk admits that he is not concerned about the impressions he gives to his younger fans in the roles he chooses.
The `Twilight` star feels that it is upto the parents to teach their children morals, Conatctmusic reported. "That`s the least of my concerns. I think it`s so ridiculous, people putting pressure on the arts. I think parents should be the ones who teach kids," said the 23-year old actor. Pattinson is playing a lothario in the upcoming film `Bel Ami` opposite Uma Thurman. The film, which also stars Christina Ricci and Kristin Scott Thomas, is due for release in 2011. PTI
