Andrea Bocelli to pair up with ‘The Muppets’ this Christmas

London: Renowned opera singer Andrea Bocelli is set to team up with ‘The Muppets’ this Christmas.The Italian tenor, who has previously shared the stage with Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera, was said to be recording a cover of Jingle Bells with Kermit, a Muppet, one of puppeteer Jim Henson`s most famous creations, first introduced in 1955, and pals.
The 50-year-old, who has recorded over 20 pop and classical albums, as well as seven complete operas, reportedly intends to release the track as part of his a Christmas-themed album in November, reports the Daily Express. Bocelli was also said to be eyeing pairing up with artists including Natalie Cole and Mary J Blige. The album may contain the star’s interpretations of White Christmas, Silent Night, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town and Oh Holy Night. ANI
