Chennai: NTR`s ‘Baadshah’ will hit the screens Jan 11, 2013, ahead of the auspicious day of Sankranti.
After successful films such as ‘Student No.1’, ‘Aadi’, ‘Simhadri’, ‘Yamadonga’, ‘Adhurs’ and ‘Brindavanam’; blockbusters like ‘Dhee’, ‘Ready’, ‘King’ and ‘Dookudu’; and all-time super hit films like ‘Gabbar Singh’; NTR, director Srinu Vaitla and producer Bandla Ganesh respectively, have joined hands to make the Telugu film ‘Baadshah’.
It will be a landmark film, says director Srinu Vaitla.
"`Baadshah` has been made keeping in mind NTR`s image, in line with my style of direction, thus not comprising on the entertainment angle and the look NTR sports in this film will attract lots of eyeballs. This will be a landmark film in our careers since we are collaborating for the first time," he added.
Ganesh is sure the NTR-Srinu team will turn out to be a sensational hit and will offer audience everything they seek in the form of entertainment.
Besides NTR and Kajal Agarwal, the film has an ensemble cast of 50 artists from Telugu, Tamil and Hindi film industries.
Navdeep will be seen in a negative role while Kelly Dorji will be seen in a negative role.
The film`s shooting will take place in Bangkok till Sep 5 this year. The schedule will be followed by shooting in Hyderabad, Gujarat, Europe and Hong Kong. He also added that NTR will be presented in a never-seen-before avatar.
The music for the movie is composed by S.S. Thaman, while the technical team includes Gopi Mohan, Kona Venkat, A.S. Prakash and Chalsani Ramarao.
