Madonna casts Natalie Dormer as ‘game-playing’ Queen Mother

London: Queen of pop Madonna has signed Natalie Dormer to portray Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother in a film about the Edward VIII abdication crisis.

Dormer appeared naked as Anne Boleyn in the television series The Tudors. "This country tends to remember the Queen Mother as a rather wrinkly 97 year-old, but I am playing her when she was quite an enchanting, engaging twenty and thirty something," the Telegraph quoted Dormer as saying. She added: "She was quite a savage and savvy game player." ANI
