Mumbai: Cash-starved Air India on Sunday said it will offer a wider variety of food choices for passengers on flights over 90 minutes duration on metro sectors on domestic network from April 1.

"Air India will provide a wider variety in its in-flight cuisine on metro sectors, including all types of Indian and Continental cuisine in breakfast, lunch/dinner or high tea, on the domestic network, on flights of duration over 90 minutes from April 1," the airline said in a press note here.

In January, the airline had decided to offer only pre-packed snacks and not full meals as done earlier on all short-haul economy class flights.
