New Delhi: The Air India management is likely to reinstate 45 pilots who were sacked during the recent stir.
According to media report, the management on Tuesday took the decision to reinstate the sacked pilots.
A total of 97 pilots were sacked by the management of Air India for taking part in the strike which was dubbed illegal.
The pilots having allegiance to the Indian Pilots' Guild had called off their 58-day-old stir after the Air India management on July 3 assured the high court that it would consider their grievances.
After hearing the submission of advocate Lalit Bhasin, appearing for the airline management, Justice Reva Khetrapal had allowed Air India to withdraw its civil suit against the pilots, seeking to restrain them from resorting to strike.
