Mumbai: February 2012 seems to be a blissful month for all those lovebirds, who have been dating for long! If the latest rumours are to be believed then Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and his long time girl-friend and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra will be entering matrimony early next year.
DNA reports that the cricketer is ready to settle down in life and has also revealed to his close friends about his engagement to Geeta.
Talking to DNA, a source revealed, “They are thinking of marriage as Geeta is ready to settle down. Bhajji also feels that the time is right for the two to settle down as he’ll get no time during the peak season of cricket.”
Is all goes well, then Bhajji and Geeta’s wedding is to take place almost around the same time when Bollywood’s most celebrated couple Saif Ali Khan-Kareena are planning to tie the nuptial. Even Riteish Deshmukh and his girlfriend Genelia D’Souza have planned their wedding in the month of the Valentine.
Sources also say that Harbhajan and Geeta will marry within six months of the engagement.
However, the Indian paparazzi might not get a chance to cover Bhajji’s big day, as he is planning to hold his engagement in London.
“Bhajji wants to have the engagement away from India where he will have a select group of people as guest. We hear that it might happen at London just after a cricketing assignment. Though Bhajji doesn’t have too many of his family members living in London, Geeta has an extended family living in the UK and particularly in London” the source said.
Former India captain Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar are expected to be part of the guests.
