Mumbai: Exim Bank said Monday IAS officer Anurag Jain has been appointed as its acting chairman and managing director after the retirement of incumbent TCA Ranganathan.

Jain is a 1989 batch IAS officer and has been a joint secretary, financial inclusion and chief vigilance officer at the financial services department of the Union Finance Ministry before his appointment as Exim Bank CMD, the premier export finance institution said, adding that his appointment is until a regular incumbent is appointed by the government.
