London: Kate Middleton has proved it earlier also that she is natural for a royal role- she played a role of Prince Charming in a play at the age of 10.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 29, also showed an early awareness of how a lovesick heir to the throne might feel in her school``s production of Cinderella. In a video of the performance her character mopes: "Oh woe, woe, woe is me. I`m in love. I can`t eat, I can`t sleep, I can`t concentrate on anything. My memory is gone." When a pal asks how long this has been going on, she replies with killer comic timing: "Has what been going on?" The audience roars with laughter as she hams it up, swaggering across stage and slapping her thigh in the end-of-year panto performed in 1992. Less than 20 years later, the whole world watched as Kate married Prince William - her very own smitten Prince Charming. "It`s funny to think of Kate playing the lovesick prince looking for a wife when she ended up marrying one. She clearly has a lot of talent and the crowd seemed to love her even then,” the Sun quoted a source as saying. Kate performed for parents and pupils as part of the drama club`s show at 4,460 pounds-a-term St Andrew`s prep school in Pangbourne, Berks. ANI
