London: Australian singer Kylie Minogue has dismissed rumours that the secret to her glowing complexion is a 4-pound jar of face cream.
The star has insisted that it takes a lot of hard work to look as good as she does.
Sales of Pond’s Cold Cream rocketed by 120 per cent after it was allegedly said that Minogue uses the beauty cream daily on the advice of her mother.
But 42-year-old Minogue told Italy’s Grazia magazine that her young looks is the result of a very vast and elaborate beauty regime, reports The Mirror.
“Oh God, that`s just so funny. I wish I really was such a low-maintenance girl. I`m not. I do use Pond’s but I use plenty of other products as well. I love beauty products,” Kylie said when asked if her beautiful looks were due to the cold cream.
“My real skin secret is I always use all-over body make-up. It makes a real difference because you get this even, lovely finish everywhere. When you hit 40 you need a little bit more help,” she added.
“I’m in a lovely relationship that makes me incredibly happy and I hope it will stay like that,” Minogue said about her relationship with Spanish model boyfriend Andres Velencoso.
