The Rolling Stones to rock in Oz

The Rolling Stones are planning to visit Australia, as part of a world tour.

Melbourne: The Rolling Stones are reportedly planning to visit Australia, as part of a world tour in 2012. The rockers are reportedly looking to secure a deal with show promoters.
"The Stones are coming - and they want crazy money," the Herald Sun quoted a respected tour promoter, as saying. The insider added: "This has been rumbling for the last 18 months. Offers are on the table. An announcement and dates are imminent." The band has already rejected overseas offers of 2.4 million dollars a show, sources say. Guitarist Keith Richards has been reportedly convincing the rest of the band to release a new album too. A source said: "Keith has put the call out for a new album and a world tour." Meanwhile, US drummer Steve Jordan may join the group in place of Charlie Watts, who has quit world touring. ANI
