Ashutosh Rana returns to small screen

Ashutosh Rana is returning to the small screen as a villain.

Mumbai: Talented actor Ashutosh Rana, who played antagonist in films like Sangharsh, Dushman and Kalyug, is returning to the small screen as a villain in telly serial Kali Ek Agni Pariksha. The actor will reportedly play a role equivalent to that of Gabbar Singh in the show to be aired on Star Plus.

Rana started his career with iconic TV serial Swabhimaan and went on to star in Farz, Sazish, Kabhi Kabhi before moving into films. The actor is best remembered for his character roles and excellent portrayal of negative characters such as the dreaded Gokul Pandit, a cold blooded psychopath killer in Dushman and fearsome Lajja Shankar Pandey in Akshay Kumar-Preity Zinta starrer Sangharsh. He is also popular in Southern cinema. PTI
