Kate Middleton who is now the fiancée of Prince William of Wales was born on the 9 January 1982. Her original name is Catherine Elizabeth. Their wedding is slated to take place on the 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey and the day has been declared a bank holiday in the UK. 29-year old Kate Middleton was born in Berkshire. The eldest child of her parents Carole Elizabeth and Michael Francis Middleton, Kate has two siblings Philippa Charlotte, known as "Pippa" and James William.Kate’s parents had a rather humble beginning. Her mother was a flight attendant, and her father was a flight dispatcher and later an airline officer for British Airways. Her parents married on 21 June 1980 at the Parish Church of Dorney, Buckinghamshire. They found Party Pieces in 1987, a mail order company that sells party supplies and decorations which later became there claim to fame and fortune. Middleton`s paternal family came from Leeds, West Yorkshire. Kate lived for a few years in Amman, Jordan where she went to English language nursery school before returning to their home in Berkshire. After returning from Amman, Middleton was educated at St. Andrew`s School in the village of Pangbourne in Berkshire followed by the University of St Andrews in Fife, where she met William and graduated with in History of Art. After completing her education Kate worked as an accessory buyer with clothing chain Jigsaw. However in September 2007, it was reported that Middleton was planning to give up her job to become a professional photographer. But those proved to be just rumors. Since her alliance with Prince Williams, Kate has been in the media eye. She has become a public figure and gets noticed for everything big and small. She has been admired for her fashion sense and has been placed on numerous "Best Dressed" lists. She was selected by The Daily Telegraph as the "Most Promising Newcomer" in 2006. She also featured in People magazine`s 2007 and 2010 best-dressed lists.
