Los Angeles: Katy Perry may be a self confessed `California Girl`, but the popstar is living it up in Malaysia, with it`s automatic toilets and piranha pedicures.
The 25-year-old was in the country to perform at the Malaysian MTV awards and tweeted pictures for her fans to see.
Perry, who is set to wed comedian Russell Brand in October, found time to try local beauty treatments during her whirlwind stay and was fascinated by the automatic toilets.
"You know u`ve made it when the toilet seat lifts itself up for you (sic)," tweeted Perry.
She also published a photo of her feet being nibbled by hundreds of toothless piranhas.
The piranha pedicure, currently the latest beauty craze and involves soaking your feet in a tub of water, where the tiny fish feed on dead skin cells.
"Prowling the streets to stay up, 15 hours ahead of home, feel like I`m upside down..but @ least I`m in the future," she tweeted.
The singer put together a energetic routine for the performance, wearing a white all-in-one leotard covered in diamond sequins and a tutu.
