London: An unusual hat worn by Britain`s Princess Beatrice to the wedding of her cousin Prince William is being put up for auction at online shopping website eBay, proceeds from which would be donated to Unicef.
Beatrice, 23, is the elder daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York. She is fifth - and the first female - in line to the throne.
The hat created by Philip Treacy has been likened to a Star Trek weapon, a cat flap and a toilet bowl, says the Daily Express.
The princess will donate money from the winning bid to Unicef and her mother the Duchess of York`s charity, Children in Crisis.
