New York: The firework display at American rocker Jon Bon Jovi`s end-of-summer bash here attracted the attention of local police, who asked the party to be stopped.
The 48-year-old singer organised a lavish bash for his wealthy celebrity neighbours, including actor Jack Nicholson, at his home in East Hampton last weekend, New York Post reported.
The party was to be brought to a glittering end with a staged set of Bon Jovi`s hit musical tracks and an explosive fireworks display, but cops quickly arrived to close the party down.
However, the `You Give Love a Bad Name` singer managed to persuade officers to allow him one more song, by inviting the cops in to watch the finale.
