Salman Khan steps into Amitabh’s shoes once again

Mumbai: Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s paths have crossed again after Salman took over the mantle of hosting ‘Bigg Boss’ from the elder B. Sallu seems to be following Big B’s footsteps everywhere. Now, news has it that the actor will play Anthony Gonsalves, the character played by Amitabh in the original version, in the remake of Manmohan Desai`s ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. According to reports by a news daily, producer Ramesh Taurani, has acquired rights from Narendra Hirawat and Ketan Desai to remake the blockbuster film of yesteryears. Not only this, the three Khan brothers will be seen in the film together. Arbaaz Khan would be seen as Amar (originally played by Vinod Khanna) while Sohail would play Akbar`s (originally played by Rishi Kapoor). The heroines are not finalized and the film will take off as soon as the actors confirm their dates. But Salman should be careful about the remake as Amitabh’s feet may turn out to be too big for him.
