New York: Jessica Simpson proudly posted the first picture of her new daughter Maxwell on Twitter, with the caption, “Howdy friends!”

The baby -- who looks a bit freaked out by the entire exercise -- is wearing a striped onesie and putting on a pout. Her mom’s blond locks can be seen in the background, the New York Post reported. Simpson gave birth to Maxwell on May 1, and made headlines for her scale-tipping size while pregnant. According to website x17online, the new mom has been, “busting her buns to lose the 50lbs of baby weight she gained during pregnancy, and she’s enlisted the help of celebrity fitness trainer Harley Pasternak to give her a jump start.” ANI
