Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra was recently mobbed by fans when the actress went to a Dargah on Monday in Ajmer. Priyanka is apparently a frequent visitor to the Dargah Sharif of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti in Ajmer, and this time when she visited there with some of her family members, the actress had to deal with a mob of her fans.
A source reveals that at the dargah, Priyanka chose to offer a chaddar just as any other devotee would, sans any security cover. The actress reportedly asked her security to stay outside and then stood in a long queue waiting her turn to do what she wanted to. “However, it was clearly visible from the actress’ face how hassled she was feeling standing amidst the crowd. But she didn’t call for her security and stayed inside for almost 15 minutes until she got a chance to pray,” added the source.
And, on top of that, in a bid to catch a glimpse of the actress, her numerous fans could be seen gathered around her, but Priyanka didn’t bother much. The actress later told a news daily, “It was very crowded, but I had no problems. I was very happy with my visit.”
As she struggled to reach her car and was leaving from the place, Priyanka apparently realised the gaffe and even reportedly apologized to the people from inside the car.
