Panaji: Foodesign Hospitality Systems (FHSPL) will expand operations in Asian markets, including Thailand, by the end of next fiscal, a top company official said on Thursday.
The Mumbai-based company is already in talks with the restaurant chains and hospitality properties in Thailand for food and beverage audit tie-ups, FHSPL Chairman and Managing Director H A Mishra said.
The leading food and beverages audit consultancy company already has its presence in Asian markets like UAE, besides the strong existence pan-India.
In UAE the company has presence in 32 outlets, he said.
"We expect to be in Bangkok by end of coming financial year," Mishra said, adding that the company has already done a survey which has indicated need of such services in this tourist destination.
He said that they are in talks with at least 40 outlets in Thailand.
FHSPL is into food and beverage audit catering to the clienteles, including five star hotels, chain of restaurants, Banquette and Catering services, flight catering, food courts, fine dining lounges, pubs and retail live concepts.
The company, Mishra said, conducts practical operational audits of F&B department starting from purchase to the food served to the customer.
He claimed that the audit can help to save 5-25 percent money on the F&B, which otherwise would go down the drain in the form of wastage, pilferage or even through malpractises.
FHSPL Chief Executive Officer Alok Mishra said the company is targeting an overall 20 percent growth for the next fiscal in the Indian market, by inking tie-ups with 25 more clients.
He said that such an audit is crucial considering the often repeated recessions and inflations which hits the hospitality sector forcing them to do cost cuttings.
