How Mukesh Ambani proposed to Nita

New Delhi: If Mukesh and Nita Ambani's life seems larger than life, the incident which led them to the altar of marriage also appears to be a scene out of a Bollywood flick.

After dating each other for some time, Neeta was still confused about her decision about marrying Mukesh, as she had her formal education to complete, and wanted to give some time to the thought.

Even though, Mukesh's and Neeta's parents were keen that the two enter into a wed-lock, there was no family pressure on them to rush into marriage, and rather take a well thought-out decision. 

However, not too long since they started dating, one day, when Mukesh and Nita were driving through Poddar Road. Mukesh stopped his car at the red traffic signal, and asked Nita if she will marry him.

In the meanwhile, the traffic light turned green and all the cars behind them had started honking. Nita, without replying to Mukesh's question urged him to hurry up and start the car or else traffic will jam the road. 

Mukesh said that he will not start the car till the time she replied to his question. And Neeta said ''yes''. 

It was indeed Mukesh's sharp mind who played a pressure tactic and helped Neeta in listening to her heart. Look, what a fine marriage of mind and heart they epitomise today, even after 31 years of marriage!
