New Delhi: Indian Energy Exchange (IEX) Tuesday entered into a pact with US-based PJM Technologies to explore opportunities for business collaboration as well as knowledge sharing activities.
The country's largest power bourse IEX in a statement said it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with US-based PJM Technologies, a leading power system-cum-market operator.
PJM Technologies is a subsidiary of US-based power major PJM.
Both entities would also look at having joint training programmes for power sector professionals in India and neighbouring countries, the statement said.
"I am confident that with the strengthening of ties between the PJM and IEX, we will be able to harness the innovation potential and develop products that meet the changing demands of the Indian and regional electricity markets," IEX Chairman Venkat Chary said.
