Angelina Jolie is making her directorial debut with a film about the Bosnian War.

Washington: Angelina Jolie is making her directorial debut with a film about the Bosnian War.
She has herself written and directed the film, called ‘In the Land of Blood and Honey’ which is about two lovers in war torn Yugoslavia. In the film, Goran Kostic and Zana Marjanovic play the two lovers – a Muslim woman Alja who falls in love with a Serb named Danijel, CBS news reported. After the war breaks out, Bosnian Muslims are rounded up and locked up by the Serbs and Danijel, a Serb captain, becomes Ajla’s jailer. The jail scenes have been shot in Budapest for the movie, which will be released in December 2011. ANI
