Mumbai: After directing adult film ‘Hate Story’, Vivek Agnihotri has wielded the megaphone for socio-political saga ‘Freedom’ and is headed to Rajasthan to shoot the second schedule of the movie.
"I am currently shooting for `Freedom`. I have almost finished the portions that had to be shot in Mumbai. Now we are set to go to Rajasthan for the second schedule. The major portions will be shot in Rajasthan and later we will shoot some portions in Delhi," he said adding that "once I am done with `Freedom`, I will soon start shooting for `Hate Story 2`". Freedom is Agnihotri`s most ambitious story. Set in the 1970s to 2000 in New Delhi, the socio-political saga will be told with various dramatic elements. According to reports, the director has roped in choreographer Salman Yusuf Khan as one of the lead actors for "Freedom", but he refused to confirm it saying: "I have an ensemble cast for the film. We will reveal the cast soon to the media." "Freedom" is being scheduled for mid-May 2013 release. "I will finish the shooting by the end of the year. I am planning to release it by middle of May, but we will make an official announcement about the release date by November," said Agnihotri. IANS
