London: Bridgette ‘Bri’ and Brad Jordan, who are the Guinness World Records-certified smallest siblings in the world, are all set to make their TV debut with a reality show that shows the day-to-day challenges they face because of their short stature.
Bri, 23, is so small she showers in the kitchen sink, and while she’ll go grocery shopping, chucking items in a cart is a major ordeal. The show titled ‘Big Tiny’ will focus on the siblings’ day-to-day lives as they tackle common tasks that people of normal stature take for granted. In the programme, Brad will showcase his skills as a college cheerleader and a gymnast, apart from demonstrating his karate moves. Besides the two diminutive siblings, of Centralia, Illinois, the show will also feature their older sister Brandi, who is of normal height, and their mother, a registered nurse. The duo suffers from Majewski osteodysplastic primordial dwarfism type II – a rare illness that affects less than 200,000 people in the U.S. population associated with brain and skeletal abnormalities. The 27-inch-tall, 18-pound Bri uses a step stool when she has to hit the sack. While her brother is 38 inches tall, which does not stop him from playing sports. “Bradley especially doesn’t seem to have a problem with being shy,” The Huffington Post quoted siblings’ mother, Christy Jordan, as saying. “They’ve always been in the public eye,” she added. Last year for a few months, Bri was also the record holder for “World’s Smallest Woman” title, that is, until Jyoti Amge of Nagpur, India, who is just 24 inches tall, reached her 18th birthday. ANI
