London: Queen Elizabeth II is reportedly upset by the portrayal of her father George VI in the critically acclaimed drama `The King`s Speech`, which sees the monarch swearing aplenty.
The film which stars Colin Firth as the stammering monarch and Helena Bonham Carter as the Queen mother, has already won a string of plaudits, including seven nominations for the Golden Globes and is tipped to sweep the board when the Oscar nominations are announced on January 25.
The story of how the maverick voice coach, Lionel Logue, helped the King overcome his stammer, has not gone down well in the Windsor Palace, reported a daily.
According to the newspaper the significance of the swearing scenes is that it has been used, while George VI?s adored elder daughter still occupies the throne and is now only a year away from celebrating her Diamond Jubilee.
The 84-year-old monarch`s portrayal in `The Queen` which got Helen Mirren an Academy award, too had not gone down well with the royals.
