Macca is a fan of ‘Glee’

Makers of `Glee` were surprised to know that Sir Paul McCartney is a fan their show.

London: Ryan Murphy, the co-creator of ‘Glee’, has revealed that he it was surprising to know that Sir Paul McCartney is a fan of his show.
Murphy also discovered that the ex-Beatle wanted his music to be part of it. Sir Paul enclosed a mix of some of his tunes, including Michelle, and asked Murphy to consider using them on the series about high school misfits in a glee club. "I was gobsmacked. I grew up with that guy. So, of course, we are going to do something," the Mirror quoted Murphy as telling the Television Critics Association``s summer meeting in Beverly Hills, California. And Sir Paul won``t be the only British name associated with Glee when it returns next season. Murphy said Britain`s Got Talent discovery Susan Boyle was in talks to be part of the Christmas episode. Another hour will feature the songs of Britney Spears, and the show is wooing a "major" artist for a tribute episode to be shown after the Super Bowl next year. ANI
