Los Angeles, June 29: Hollywood star Johnny Depp, who has two children with girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, splurged on a 45-acre tropical island after discovering it by chance on a family holiday."Like everything else in my life, it wasn`t planned, it just kind of happened. I went on vacation to escape with my kids and my girl (friend) and someone said there was an island down the road for sale. I looked at it, I walked on it and I was done.
