Lindsay Lohan turns down porn star role

Los Angeles: Actress Lindsay Lohan`s mother says her daughter was not axed from Linda Lovelace biopic `Inferno`, which is about a drug addict and a port star. "She turned `Inferno` down," said Dina Lohan.

In November, the film`s director Matthew Wilder announced they were withdrawing their offer from Lohan saying it was impossible to insure the star. However, Dina says that`s not the real story, and that the 24-year-old had walked out of the edgy project on her own, reports usmagazine.com. "The movie is about a drug addict and a porn star... it is hard when you are a serious actor with what she has been through, we don`t need that." IANS
