Mumbai: Friends do turn foes and at times it is the ‘once upon a time friends’ that cost a lot in reality and the same seems to hold true for Shatrughan Sinha, who had to pay a rather hefty price for his rivalry with once his good friend - Amitabh Bachchan.Shotgun seems to be in no mood to forgive Amitabh, so, after creating quite a stir during Abhishek-Aishwarya’s wedding, when Amitabh ‘forgot’ to call him, the hot-headed Sinha is at it again. When quizzed about Big B and his famous rivalry with him, Shatru in a recent interview said, “Rivalry was unfortunate but it did exist. After ‘Naseeb’ and ‘Shaan’, I had to return advances of films, which also co-starred him (Amitabh). Our rivalry won’t end. There’s a dialogue in my new film ‘Raktacharita’ that goes like, ‘I’m not Sarkar, I’m Super Sarkar. People should feel free to draw their interpretations.” Well, that’s quite a statement Mr Shotgun! But guess it’s time for you to move on, for Amitabh is still Amitabh, isn’t he?
