New Delhi: Never the one to miss an opportunity to endear himself to his fans or sight a prospective profitable venture, Shah Rukh has once again discovered an opportunity to do both at one go. With the inauguration of Commonwealth Games just around the corner in Delhi, all eyes are riveted to the capital. SRK has lunged at the sight of this immense world stage, which incidentally is in his hometown, and has expressed his eagerness to be a part of the gala opening show. Shah Rukh Khan has already come out publicly with his eagerness. He is reported to have spoken to reporters, “I would love to perform (in the opening ceremony). It really sounds great. I will come during CWG. Get ready Dilliwalon. God willing, I think India will hold a successful Commonwealth Games. I am confident about that.” The public event that SRK made his platform for this revelation was Delhi Half Marathon. Being quite enthusiastic about Delhi hosting the games, he also told that he would be attending some of the sporting events as well. “I love you Delhiites, you were wonderful and I am overwhelmed. I have never participated in a marathon, but I would definitely love to do so. When I`ll feel fit, then I`ll come,” he said. “Sports is most important after education and we should promote it to the highest level. I love sports and want such events to be organised regularly. During my school days, I was very active in sports,” he added. This superb enthusiasm is sure to win him the performing opportunity as well as a tremendous crowd to cheer him up!
