John jumps off a forty floor skyscraper for ‘New York’!

John Abraham showed his courage and determination when he jumped off a forty floor skyscraper in New York while shooting for Kabir Khan’s ‘New York’. According to reports, the scene in question had already been shot with a stuntman once, but when John saw the rushes he wasn’t too impressed and thought that being a thorough professional that he is, it is his duty to make sure that the scene canned is the best ever.

Mumbai, April 13: John Abraham showed his courage and determination when jumped off a forty floor skyscraper in New York while shooting for Kabir Khan’s ‘New York’. According to reports, the scene in question had already been shot with a stuntman once, but when John saw the rushes he wasn’t too impressed and thought that being a thorough professional that he is, it is his duty to make sure that the scene canned is the best ever. Going by the same logic, John apparently told Kabir that he found the scene spectacular and hence he himself should do it. It is believed that on knowing this, Kabir was shocked and he asked John if he was sure that he would be able to pull it off. John told him that he would like to take the necessary training. He trained with a few stuntmen for two days. Though it could’ve proven fatal if the rope had snapped or John would have lost his sense of direction, but our man did it flawlessly and the rappelling stunt is already being talked about.
