New Delhi: Nita Ambani, the 50-year old wife of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, is all set to be appointed on board of Reliance Industries Limited.
Involved in various philanthropic activities, Nita Ambani is the founder and chairperson of Dhirubhai Ambani International School. She is also the co-owner of the Mumbai Indians cricket team which plays in the Indian Premier League.
According to reports, the activist will be appointed on board of the RIL where her husband and billionaire Mukesh Ambani is the chairman.
The company will seek the approval of the shareholders during the annual general meeting on June 18, as per reports.
Earlier in April, there were reports that thier 22-year old daughter Isha Ambani was also set to play a major role in their retail business.
Isha Ambanihas been working as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. in the US since May 2013.
