Amy Winehouse’s Camden home listed at £2.7m

The London home where Amy Winehouse lived and died in is being sold for 2.7million pounds.

Washington: The London home where Amy Winehouse lived and died in is being sold for 2.7million pounds. The property in Camden, London has been put on the market by her father Mitch Winehouse who used the place as the headquarters for the Amy Winehouse Foundation after her death last July, aged 27.
The parent purchased the house with his daughter in April 2010 for 1.8million pounds and although relatives originally wanted to hang on to the home, that have now decided to sell. “The Winehouses have decided to put the house on the market, with great regret. Amy loved that house but none of the family felt it appropriate that they should live in it,” a website has quoted a family spokesman as telling a daily. “It was not practical to keep it empty while paying for its upkeep. It is a wonderful place and will be a happy family home for someone.” The online estate agency selling it describes the house as a “substantial and impressive three double bedroom, three reception room semi-detached period villa with well-proportioned private gardens”. The listing says it has undergone major refurbishment with features including an “integrated sound system, CCTV and a master suite with vaulted ceiling”. ANI
