MJ’s mum ‘to produce movies about his life’

Legendary singer Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine has reportedly struck a business deal to produce and distribute movies about the life of the late King of Pop.

New York: Legendary singer Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine has reportedly struck a business deal to produce and distribute movies about the life of the late King of Pop.
According to TMZ, Jackson’s mother has hundreds of hours of video, including the family’s move from Gary, Indiana to Los Angeles after The Jackson 5 signed with Mowtown in 1968. Howard Mann, who co-authored a book called ‘Never Can Say Goodbye’ with Katherine, is reported to have bought the rights to more videos of the King of Pop owned by his friend and business partner Marc Shaffel, reports the New York Post. Katherine, 80, is reportedly involved in a business deal to produce and distribute several movies about the life of the legendary singer. However, the late singer’s estate has the exclusive right to market the Michael’s name and image, which could put the movie plans in a tricky legal position, TMZ reported. ANI
