Natalie Portman in Superman movie?

London: Actress Natalie Portman might be roped in to play the female lead in new "Superman" movie.

The 29-year-old might be joining actresses Kate Bosworth and Teri Hatcher to play Superman Clark Kent`s love interest, journalist Lois Lane. Filmmaker Darren Aronofsky would be directing the new film, reports contactmusic.com. "They wanted her (Portman) first time around, this time they can get her - with Darren. But who knows where that`s at now. ...nothing on paper yet," said a source. Aronofksy and Portman recently teamed up for the thriller Black Swan, which sees the actress playing a New York ballet dancer. IANS
