New Delhi: Debut director Harish Sharma, whose horror film ‘2 Nights In Soul Valley’ released this week, says it was his ultimate dream to enter Bollywood.
The movie is based on a real incident that occurred in Pithoragarh village in Uttarakhand. The story revolves around five friends, who go to soul valley for their vacations.
"I shifted from PR business to direction because that was my ultimate aim. My debut project is a supernatural film and has newcomers in it. I am soon coming up with more films like ‘Inside Kasab’ and ‘London to Ladakh’. Shooting of those films will begin next year," Sharma said.
"It is a small film made with a budget of just one crore and so it was difficult to get the film released, as is the case with all small films. But I am very confident about the film," he added.
The film stars veteran comedian-actor Hemant Pandey and a new crop of actors like Sumeet Sharma, Akshi Khari, Meenakshi Arya, Suumit Sharma, Gaurav Shah and England-based singer-composer Milli Moonstone.
The `Office Office` and `Krrish` fame actor Pandey will be seen in an intense and serious role for the first time in this film.
"Earlier I have played humorous roles but I now want to explore myself and try to do some serious acting. In this film, I play the character of a stubborn tourist guide," said Pandey, who will play the lead role in Harish`s next film ‘Inside Kasab’.
Debutante Suumit Sharma, who plays the role of Lucky in the film, said, "As a beginner I always wanted to do a more serious role. I liked the script of the film. I enjoyed the shooting of the film and now there is a bond of friendship build among all of us. The songs in the movie are very good based on the theme of the film given by singer-composer Varsha Narayan."
