Blake Lively will not repeat Lindsay Lohan`s mistakes

It seems `Gossip Girl` star Blake Lively has learnt a lesson from the mistakes of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan and has said she would refrain from committing the same blunders.

London: It seems `Gossip Girl` star Blake Lively has learnt a lesson from the mistakes of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan and has said she would refrain from committing the same blunders.
The 23-year-old actress, who is keen to pose as a good example to the younger generation, insisted youngsters believe in a "good role model" rather than someone who frequents jails and rehabs, reported Femalefirst. The actress, who shot to fame playing Serena van der Woodsen in the hit sitcom, admitted to having less interest in celebrity party circuits and would not hesitate to shun such glitzy events to spend time with family. "I was raised in a very rounded family from the South and (was) never much of a party girl, and if I were I would think of the obligations that I have to young girls, because I feel that there are not too many great role models, although now some are emerging. "In the last few years the paparazzi have played out the lives of these girls for everyone to see, and so many people make mistakes at that age in our lives and it all takes place in front of the camera," said Lively. Besides `Gossip Girls`, Blake has also appeared in movies like `Accepted`, `The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants`, `The Private Lives of Pippa Lee` and Ben Affleck`s `The Town`. PTI
