Gwyneth Paltrow bags cameo in `Glee`

Gwyneth is the latest A-lister to land a cameo in the hit TV musical `Glee`.

Los Angeles: After Britney Spears and Susan Sarandon, Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest Hollywood A-lister to land a cameo in the hit TV musical `Glee`. The Academy award winning actress had befriended the series` creator Ryan Murphy and will now be starring in two episodes of `Glee`, where she will sing and dance, reported E!Online.
The 37-year-old is no stranger to singing roles. She had used her pipes to play a karaoke hustler in `Duets` and a country singer in `Country Strong`. Paltrow, who is the wife of singer Chris Martin, will play a substitute teacher at McKinley High. The status is still "in talks" but filming is expected to start in two weeks time, with Murphy as the director. The show creator had specifically written the role for Paltrow. PTI
