Though experts and headhunters believe that bullish trend in terms of hiring activities is likely to continue in 2016 on favourable economic growth forecast and the emergence of a startup ecosystem in various sectors including retail, finance and technology.

Here are 5 golden rules you should follow if you are hunting for a job.

Know your USP

Hunting a job becomes all the more tough when you know that several candidates are vying for a single position. Everybody might have similar experience, degree or skills. What do you do then? You must know your USP. Your uniqueness will give you that extra edge.

Apply for the right post

Don't randomly sit and keep applying for whatever you come across. You might feel that several openings match your eligiblity. But remember, job application is not a hit and miss case. Select the right post, something you are sure of.
