Anne Hathaway defends `Dark Knight Rises` outfit

London: Anne Hathaway has come to the defence of her Catwoman outfit from the movie ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ after initial images received not so great responses from fans.

The first photo of Hathaway in full superhero attire began circulating on blogs, message boards and websites last week, but not everyone was impressed. "I was not going to admit it: I asked someone to send me a few reactions (to the photo).And I happen to know that Mtv`s reaction was meh," contactmusic.com quoted the 28-year-old as saying. "What I am happy to say is, if you didn`t like the photo, you only see about a 10th of what that suit can do. And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste," she added. Directed by Christopher Nolan, the movie also features Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gary Oldman and is set to release July next year. IANS
