I tried so hard to save Michael Jackson that I could have had a heart attack, says Dr Conrad Murray

London: Michael Jackson`s doctor Conrad Murray has claimed that after he gave the pop star the sedatives and anaesthetic propofol, he himself could have had a heart attack because of the stress that he underwent.

Murray also said that he was "in the wrong place at the wrong time." He gave two phone interviews from his cell - one with CNN`s Don Lemon - yet to be broadcast - and another with Anderson Cooper on Tuesday. Speaking from the high-security LA jail, where he is isolated from other prisoners for his protection, he gave an account of his own childhood before singing a bizarre rendition of `The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot,` the Mirror reported. Murray, convicted in 2011 of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years, said that he was "a scapegoat" - and said that he had just as tough an upbringing as Jackson had. He also said that he had lost a great friend, a man who was imperfect like everyone and had his dark sides and his good sides, and Murray had known both. ANI
