Nicolas Cage slams ex-wife’s conservatorship plans over troubled son

Washington: Actor Nicolas Cage has slammed his former girlfriend Christina Fulton after she tried to gain a conservatorship of their troubled son Weston, claiming that she is the one who should get help.

“I hope Ms. Fulton will come to her senses one day and get some help... Weston is a man. I have complete faith he will weather this well,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling TMZ.com. However, Fulton said that she would be taking legal action to watch over Weston after he was hospitalised and underwent a mental evaluation last week. But, the actor is adamant that Weston does not need his mother’s help to get better. And the 20-year-old rocker who has been released from a psychiatric hold also said that he does not want any contact with his mom. “I am a fully capable and self-sufficient adult. I want no contact with Christina Fulton and will never undergo the torment she put me through ever again,” Weston said. ANI
