Amritsar: Expanding its network in north India, SpiceJet Friday announced the launch of new flight services connecting the cities of Amritsar, Chandigarh and Srinagar to Delhi.

MP Navjot Singh Sidhu inaugurated the launching of the service here.

"Amritsar is an important destination for us. A lot of pilgrims visit the holy city daily. With the launch of these new flights, we are kicking-off our major expansion plan in north India," SpiceJet Chief Executive Office Neil Mills said.

In the first phase of north India expansion, SpiceJet will connect to Amritsar, Chandigarh, Srinagar and Indore to Delhi, a press release stated.
