New Delhi: As part of its golden jubilee celebrations, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ) plans to open 100 branches in the current fiscal.
"The Bank has plans to add 100 more branches during the current year. It will also take care of bank's commitment regarding financial inclusion. Rajasthan has our major presence supported by network across India," SBBJ said in a statement.
The Jaipur-based subsidiary of State Bank of India had 1,037 branches as on 31st March, 2013.
Yesterday, bank's Managing Director B Sriram inaugurated 3 more branches in the national capital, it further said, adding that total number of SBBJ branches in Delhi-NCR has now increased to 38.
In January, Finance Minister P Chidambaram had kicked off SBBJ's golden jubilee celebrations by inaugurating its 1,000th branch in Jaipur. According to the statement, SBBJ has crossed total business of Rs 1,30,000 crore.
