Rahman to perform in Chicago on June 18

Music maestro AR Rahman will be performing in Chicago on June 18.

Chicago: Oscar-winning music maestro AR Rahman, who kick started his `Jai Ho` world tour to a full house in New York on Friday, will be performing here on June 18. "New York, thanks for coming and all the support! Hope you enjoyed the show...," wrote Rahman on his Facebook page.

The 44-year-old musician, popularly known as the `Mozart of Madras`, will be performing in New Jersey today and in Washington tomorrow. The Chicago leg of the `AR Rahman Jai Ho: The Journey Home World Tour will be held at Sears Center Arena in Hoffman Estates. Other singers performing in the show would be Hariharan, Javed Ali, Benny Dayal, Blaaze, Shweta Pandit of the `Iktara` fame, and Neeti Muhan. PTI
