Schwarzenegger planning comeback with `Cry Macho`

Los Angeles: Actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is reportedly set to star in kidnapping drama `Cry Macho`.

However, it is not clear whether the film will be his first post-office project, Variety reported. "Gov Schwarzenegger has not made a decision about what his first movie project will be. There are a number of possibilities, but as of right now, no decision has been made," his spokesperson said. `The Godfather` producer Al Ruddy is behind the long in the line project, which is based on the 1975 novel by late author N Richard Nash. Nash adapted the screenplay before his 2000 death. The film will be directed by Brad Furman of the `The Lincoln Lawyer` fame. `Cry Macho` will see Schwarzenegger playing an alcoholic horse trainer who becomes a pawn in an international kidnapping plot after losing his wife and child. Schwarzenegger has given Ruddy and the rest of the `Cry Macho` team the go-ahead to use his participation as part of their pitch as they put financing together. Meanwhile, the actor is also considering a starring role in `Last Stand`. He is also looking at reviving the `Terminator` through his agency. `Fast Five` director Justin Lin is attached to direct. PTI
