Father of Tilda Swinton’s kids denies ménage à trios rumours

New York: The father of Tilda Swinton’s children has denied having a threesome arrangement with the actress and her German boyfriend. Tongues were set wagging when Swinton appeared at Oscars in LA with Sandro Kopp, a German artist 17 years her junior, while the father of her two children, playwright and screenwriter John Byrne stayed at home.

Now Byrne has come forward to deny the suggestion he is part of an artistic ménage a trois. “I have been miscast as living under the same roof as Tilda and Sandro,” the New York Post quoted him as telling The Times newspaper. “I’ve been painted as a benign eccentric who’s living there while some guy’s shagging his sweetheart. Why would I do that? “Let me put the record straight: no way is it a ménage à trois. Neither of us would have had any truck with anything remotely like that. People would like to think that, wouldn’t they? Bizarre,” he added. Byrne has actually been in a relationship with lighting designer Jeanine Davies for three years. Last December, he moved with Davies into a house across the street from Swinton and Kopp. ANI
