London: Police raided EastEnders actor Steve McFadden`s house after they were informed that he had guns stored in his apartment, but found a porn star by the name of Big Omar.
Officers from Scotland Yard realized after seeing the 51-year-old star with the man from adult industry that they had acted on a hoax.
"The police got two tip-offs that Steve had guns hidden in his home - so an armed team was sent round to check it out," the News of the World quoted a source as saying.
The insider added: "No one was more shocked than Steve. The police did a quick search but put it down to a malicious call.
"Steve’s good mates with Omar who is often at his place. But if he could have chosen any person to be there when police came round, it probably wouldn’t have been him."
Later, McFadden’s agent Scott Mitchell confirmed that the raid had taken place and that no guns were found.
Williams, 41, has starred in XXX-rated films including Helen Does Holland, Muffy the Vampire Slayer, Gym Sex Adventure and Bonin` Up On Blondes.
