Pete Doherty could be “chased” to compensate crash victim

London: Pete Doherty may have to compensate hundreds of thousands of pounds to a church worker who suffered “very severe” brain damage when he was run over by the singer’s manager.

According to reports, the 45-year-old victim, Christopher Corder, was left disabled in the car smash, in September 2009 in Hadleigh, Suffolk, by Andrew Boyd, who was later jailed as he was driving Doherty’s car without insurance. However, prosecutors have dropped charges against the singer, as he was too drunk to know what he was doing, the sun reported. The High Court has yesterday ruled that Doherty, and Boyd can be “chased” for compensation to be paid to the victim. ANI
